Andrea Califano is the founding Chairman of the Department of Systems Biology at Columbia University, Associate Director of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center and serves on the Board of Scientific Advisors of the National Cancer Institute. He is also Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University, Director of the Center for the Multiscale Analysis of Genetic Networks, Co-Director of the Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, and Director of the JP Sulzberger Columbia Genome Center. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors of the National Cancer Institute.
